What to do? ok, I have a vBulletin license, hosting and a gaming related domain name. suggestions for a website since this one is dead
hmmm 1) make it into a porn website for free porn for all of us ! 2) find some more people and make another clan for something else 3) do something else gaming related, movies, news etc.
1) i don't think you'd want me to make a porn site, since you all know the usual free sites, I'd have to make my own 2) i cba with clans anymore, too much effort and i get bored 3) well that was an incredibly general response
We should get activity back on this forum, so that older members have a reason to check it weekly/daily ;] think 2 is the best option for that, you dont have to do it yourselve Alex, just post something on english cs/gaming fora (ed?) that your site and a legendary clan name is available for anyone to use, if they agree on using the forum alot! otherwise I really dno back to the oldskewl, when it was a music website? xI

XD ahahaha Timy n1 you flam0r ^^ however theres plenty fanbois check www.gamelux.nl tehre was this thread about "Whos the best dutch cs player" and I got mentioned twice rofl. now ill be the first to admit Im certainly not the best player but it does say something :] was at a big dutch lan this weekend, with a mix of dutch highskillers, we didnt play once together, I just knew 3 of the 4 from a mix sometime back online, we got 4th. 1st 3 got cash prices, so we just missed out ;< should we have prepared for say 3 times 2 hours, we woulda probably gotten top3 xD we took ten rounds vs Logic who ended 2nd on Nuke, us beginning the hardest (T) side :x anyways I dont ever play it anymore online, just a lan every other month <3 LAN
ah wait, the site I linked is dutch, well its Hollands #1 e-sports site here's a recent example: http://coverage.gamelux.nl/news/4260/ the seedings were released for this weekends lan, and theres 3 comments with something along the lines of goo liQuid^moTion ^^ too bad I never have time to practice or really prepare for events coz Id be in a topteam right now racking up dollahs baby! and if I had discovered cs 6/7 years ago rather than 3 Id be in SK ;D
I always find it weird that people get payed for playing CS in tournaments and stuff... I generally regard video games as goods and/or services you pay for as a form of entertainment. Then again, I guess if I was 1337 enough to play for a living I probably would... With regards as to what should be done with the site, I'm not sure. I don't think restoring it to a clan is a viable option, most old members no longer play regularly. New members and I guess it wouldn't really be BPG anymore... Maybe you could rope some newbies in from somewhere and just kick up the forums again, as a music/games related thing? dan
yeah we need some proper noobs to do the BPG name justice! aah the good ol days ;p with CGS drafts and tourneys starting up atm, players in America been drafted to play for franchises for an annual salary of 30000+ dollars, they get stuffed into a house with the 5 of m, and so on, it might be evolving into a real professional sport, as it is in Korea. Im thinking of having a go at the euro fifa draft :B Id have to start praccing quickly tho since I only play Pro evolution soccer (never touched a fifa since fifa 2002). Id have a really good odds of getting in though since marketability is just as important as skillz, and considering my status in the dutch gaming scene and my big mouth/camera appearances, who knows
rofl play nuke against a proper team not some UK randies that logic team went on to become an international powerhouse, together with CNO/dcc theyre top2 NL CNO got 5-8 @ last years WCG, logic lost the kode5 dutch finals last year (the tourney right after that one I mentioned ^^) 13-16 against SK, with the lost rounds all being very close (1 SK member left usually) :] and yeah I know that with proper spamming and tactics T side of nuke shouldn't be any harder than CT side, but if you can read we were with a mix! mix CT side = always easier than T side, except maybe for d2 x]
yeah but you will never get much ground against a proper organized topteam ofcourse you can get out of groupstages anywhere with 5 decent shooters, but making top3 with a mix is hard in any country if its a 500+ people lan :] btw since when do you call? ^^ and where do you play now? (cs1.6 source/dod? ) attended many lans yet since we last spoke?
1.6, ive been calling for a while, not that i enjoy it, but more cos i love shouting. I went to a small lan a couple months back in swindon and played with 3 of the worst players ive ever seen, every round we won i got 3 kills at least lol. I was one of the loudest people there tho, we only got like 6 rounds in 3 games but it was good crack
