Megaman Battle Network 4 [GBA]

Megaman Battle Network 4
one of my favorite game series

Megaman is back and better than ever in the fourth game of the battle network series on the Gameboy Advance. Megaman Battle Network 4 continues the story of Lan and his navi Megman to stop the evil from taking over the cybernet.

Gameplay – 10/10
The gameplay is basically the same as the other battle network games. You and your opponent stand on a 3x3 platform, trying to delete each other with battle chips. However there are some new things in the game. When you hit your enemy with a counter attack you go in full synchro. Your next attack does then twice the damage to you opponent. There also some dark chips. If you use them, megaman lose then 1 HP point permanently. If you use them too much you lose the control of megaman and he will use random chips. There also Soul unisions. Each version has 6 different special souls. When you defeat certain Navis you will be able to use some of their abilities.

Story – 9/10
The story for this game is very good. You have to save the world from a new threat, the nebula syndicate and also become the best net battler in the world by battling in tournaments. You will be put to the test to see if you can defeat the darkness within Megaman.

Sound – 9/10
The sound for this game is done well. The Sound effects are really cool and fit in perfectly. Music during battle is also pretty cool. However I liked the sounds a bit more in Battle Network 3

Replay ability – 10/10
The game has 3 modes you can play. After you beat the game at the normal mode you can chose to play the game again at the hard mode. After that you can always try the super hard mode.

Total Score – 9/10
You should definitely buy this game if you plan on doing everything in it. Which version you get is your choice depending on the way you play. The game should be bought but that’s my opinion.
