MSN is super busted at the mo, ill post here if thats ok
If you only have 1 pc, best to print this off and follow it (ill try and be as accurate as possible, because i lack a home cd to refernce to).
Assuming your home edition CD operates as a boot disk (im sure it does):
1) Turn on PC, put in disk, turn off pc (just hold the button down, no need for shutdown here

)
2) When computer starts up, press a key to boot from disk when prompted.
3) I believe this is the point where winXP loads a load of crap, be patient.
4) A blue menu screen should come up, should be F* to continue through it.
5) read the menu's carefully, and opt to remove the current partition (should be done by pressing 'l', or an equally random key, i cant remember)
6) The partition should say how much space left on, wipe it completely
7) Once this has been wiped, go for the option of creating a new one (only 1 partition needed tbh)
8) The setup should continue along into the interface we all know and hate, it should be straight forward from there.
NOTE: YOU MAY WANT TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE SETUP, AS YOU NEED TO INPUT TIME, LOCATION AND SETUP INFO IN ORDER FOR INSTALLATION TO CONTINUE.
(If this is hard to follow, a quick google i did came up with this:
http://www.cyberwalker.net/columns/aug02/010802.html but i haven't read it, so im not sure of how good a guide it is)
Good Luck!
